The Sports Club's Leadership Badge is exclusive to all core club committee members who fulfil
certain requirements. To qualify, you must be elected as a core club committee member of an eligible
University Sports Club.
An eligible University Sports Club must reach the following criteria: Possess a Club Development Plan
and updated Constitution. Fulfil all Governance timeframes set out for the year. Have a minimum of
five (5) core committee members in addition to others. Complete the Club Yearly Review.
To earn this badge a student must:
• Set personal goals and choose a leadership skill for development.
• Complete an end-of-year reflection in the leadership section of YourSpace Dashboard.
• Reflect on achieved goals and leadership skills through a short online survey.
• Attend mandatory Club Committee Training as required by your role and Volunteer for at least one
Sports Unit-run activity during the year.
